Preparing for the Barack-alypse

I woke up one morning and wondered if "Family Ties" was available on Netflix instant streaming. Good news. It was! (*Tangent* "The Wonder Years" will be available some time soon. That will be worth the monthly fee itself.)

I spent some time later that day watching this show while I scrapbooked and found myself enjoying the relevance of Alex P. Keaton today. He had Reagan to look up to; we find ourselves looking for the reincarnation. His parents were hippies; we find ourselves being told what do by the ones in Congress. He knew young minds were impressionable; we find ourselves looking for those schools who will teach our children well. Thank goodness for young minds like Alex P. Keaton's who are grown now--ourselves included--and are willing to set things right in the United States and, consequently, the World.
